“Agatha always talked about how things had a natural energy to them. With enough practice, she could sense things without looking.” Wanda said letting go of him.
“Natural Energy…I’ve heard of it.” he nodded.
“Now try to focus on mine.” Wanda said, letting a bit of her magic flare to help him out.
She placed her hands on either side of his face as she looked at him
“Right now, try to sense my magic.”
He tried to focus. “I can…slightly….”
“Agatha always talked about how things had a natural energy to them. With enough practice, she could sense things without looking.” Wanda said letting go of him.
She helped him sit up and heartened to see that seemed to improve his mood.
“I never really mastered it but Agatha tried to show me a way to see magical energy. It’s similar to how you can feel when something is magical but much more refined.” She tries to explain.
He stretched sightly once he was sitting up, smiling now.
“I understand.” he nodded. “And I trust you.”
She placed her hands on either side of his face as she looked at him
“Right now, try to sense my magic.”
Wanda let out a sigh as she looked at him before placing a hand on his shoulder.
“There is something we could try. It won’t restore your sight but it can help you get by until we can start working on them.”
“what is it?” he asked curiously. That brightened his mood a bit…at least he wouldn’t be helpless.

“She definitely has a way with them doesn’t she.” Wanda said with a small smile before it fell. This hand was much more damaged and there was little she could do without risking injuring him more. Doing what she could, she wrapped up the hand again.
“It’s going to take more time.” Wanda said, looking down as she wished she could help him there and now.
“that’s fine. You tried you best.” He said, going to lay on his side.
Wanda let out a sigh as she looked at him before placing a hand on his shoulder.
“There is something we could try. It won’t restore your sight but it can help you get by until we can start working on them.”
“At this rate, she’ll end up being a vet. That would show your mother, wouldn’t it?” Wanda laughed too, happy that subject got a positive reaction from him. She used her magic to rewrap his hand before moving onto the other one.
“Yes…she would be a great vet. Especially with cats.” He said softly.

“I took Marya to the park, fed the ducks. I think she’s named half of them by now.” Wanda said as she examined her hands with her magic, mending little fractures where she could. Even with Lore gone, her magic was still on his hands and very strong. She had wanted to ensure he would suffer. “But she was really happy to see them again since we hadn’t been to the park in awhile.”
That did make him smile.”I wouldn’t be surprised” He chuckled. “She loves the ducks. Almost as much as cats, but not quite as much. Cats are still the best, I believe.” he said.
“At this rate, she’ll end up being a vet. That would show your mother, wouldn’t it?” Wanda laughed too, happy that subject got a positive reaction from him. She used her magic to rewrap his hand before moving onto the other one.
Wanda knocked on the door before letting herself in when he didn’t respond. Part of her was crushed to see him like this, not so much about his injuries but looking so defeated. While he attempted to put on a brave face about the whole ordeal, it was clear from his body language that he wasn’t.
“Hey.” She said, sitting on the bed next to him. “Let’s see how your hands are doing.” She reached out and gently took his hand in hers.
He looked in the direction of her voice forcing a smile. “Wanda.” he said He let her take his hand, wincing. It still hurt…

Darkness. That was his world right now. He was useless, unable to do anything alone. All he could do was lay there and reply the past week over and over in his mind. Diana. Lore. The loss of his hands. The loss of his eyes. And he was helpless to stop it. He should have stopped it. But he didn’t. He had barely tried. This was interesting. He could have at least done something…but as irritating as Diana was, he knew attacking would hurt her, and that was one thing he didn’t want to do. At least she was okay, and Lore was gone for good. She wouldn’t come back and bother them anymore.
But that wouldn’t change the fact he was blind and virtually powerless.

Jellybaby?
I love conventions for commissions like this. He absolutely couldn’t decide between Scarlet Witch or Doctor Who and it came down to both!
Another find while reading Avengers. Ignore for a moment Scarlet Witch sitting in bed in her crimson underoos (Hard, I know.) and focus on the panel with Quicksilver. PIETRO PLAYS CHESS AGAINST HIMSELF. HOW SAD IS THIS?
Do I have your attention? Good.
Stop filling the Charisma Carpenter tag with naked women who aren’t Charisma Carpenter! She has plenty of nude pictures to choose from so either post those or stop tagging your advertisements with her name.
Thank you for your time.
“Mommy, I thought only kids wore costumes on Halloween—But that man’s face is red!” Pft. Kid, your mom is dressed up too, you just don’t realize it. Whatt the Hell is on her head? Is she Peter Pan?
